Our Beginner’s Course, commonly referred to as the “Introduction to Motorcycling” (ITM), is designed specifically for those who have little or no prior experience riding a motorcycle, scooter, or moped. If you’re not quite ready to dive straight into the Compulsory Basic Training (CBT), this course provides a perfect introduction to motorcycling.
At Motorcycle Training centre, we understand that each rider is unique. Our Beginner’s Course is therefore tailored to your individual needs, ensuring you build a solid foundation of skills at your own pace. Whether you have never been on a motorcycle before or want to familiarise yourself with riding techniques before tackling the CBT, this course offers a supportive and structured approach to learning.

Compulsory basic training (CBT) was introduced in 1990 to help reduce the very high accident rate among inexperienced motorcyclists. CBT must be completed by Law, before any new moped or motorcycle rider is allowed to ride on the road with L-plates or D-plates in Wales

this is for someone that has been away from motocycling for a few years and wants to ride again you will not get a cbt at the end f the day
Gear conversion
At moto school we understand that many riders start their journey on automatic motorcycles. Whether you’ve completed your Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) on an automatic bike or already hold a full automatic licence, progressing to a manual (geared) motorcycle offers an exciting new challenge. Our Gear Conversion Course is specifically designed to help you make that transition safely and confidently, allowing you to ride a 125cc manual motorcycle with ease
